According to Indian time, the partial solar eclipse on January 6 will start at 5.04 in the morning and will end at 9.18. It is considered to start 12 hours before the eclipse begins.This solar eclipse will be on the new moon of the month. Dr. Rajendra Prakash Gupta, Superintendent of Ujjain’s prestigious Government Observatory, told on Thursday that a series of wonderful astronomical events of eclipses in the coming year will begin with partial solar eclipse on January 6. According to Gupta, this new eclipse of New Year will not be shown in India. The new year 2019 will be witness to the five astronomical events, including three sun eclipses and two lunar eclipses. However, only two of these astronomical events in India are expected to be visible.
